Northminster Presbyterian Church celebrates Lent now through Easter

Northminster Presbyterian Church in Evanston (2515 Central Park Ave.) invites the community to its month-long observance of Lent from February 22 until March 31. Focusing on the theme “We Thirst,” come reflect on spiritual and personal journeys throughout the Lenten season leading up to Easter.

Services will be held in the church sanctuary at 7pm on March 24 (Palm Sunday) and March 29 (Good Friday), and half-hour Lenten vesper services on Thursdays at 7pm in the church chapel on February 22, 29, and March 7, 21, and 28. Easter Sunday will be celebrated on March 31 at 9 and 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend any or all services.
