Police Chief, City Manager Will Be at 2nd Ward Meeting
One night after shooting, city officials will answer questions at community meeting.

Evanston Police Chief Richard Eddington will be in attendance at tonight’s Second Ward meeting, one day after a barricade situation following a shots fired incident occurred in the community.
An email newsletter shared by 2nd Ward Ald. Peter Braithwaite encouraged the public to attend the meeting, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 12 at the J.E.H. Education Center, 1500 McDaniel Ave.
City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz will also be present to share information and respond to questions.

On Wednesday, two Evanston residents were arrested after police barricaded them into a home on Lake Street, moments after they reported hearing gunshots and smelling gunfire in the area. Helicopters responded to the scene after the suspects allegedly ran into the home after being spotted by police.
