Police Seek Public's Help in Finding Man Accused of Trying to Lure Girl Into SUV
The incident happened in Evanston Saturday afternoon.

EVANSTON, IL - Evanston police are asking for the public's help to locate a man accused of trying to lure a 12-year-old girl into his car after asking her for directions to a coffee shop in the area on Saturday afternoon, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The man, who is described as a Hispanic man between 20 and 30 years old, pulled up to the girl in his white SUV while the girl was walking in the 200 block of Main Street around 1:40 p.m., according to the article. The man, who identified himself as Jose to the girl, is further described as being short in stature and had a goatee and his SUV was a newer model and white.
