Name: LaTasha Winston
Hometown: Evanston
Hero's job: Health Care
Relationship to nominee: LaTasha is a social worker and lead mental health professional at Greenwood Care in Evanston where our daughter lives.
Reason for recognition: LaTasha worked overtime when COVID-19 struck to help us bring our daughter home until we felt it safe for her to return to the residence. That is piles of extra paper work added to an already extra busy load.
One thing to know: LaTasha not only worked a lot of overtime with COVID-19 as a possible threat, but she was 8 months pregnant. She now has a beautiful baby daughter.
Thank you for all you do, LaTasha Winston!
