3 guns, a dozen MDMA pills and several ounces of marijuana were discovered at the home of a 36-year-old man by Evanston police detectives.

EVANSTON, IL — In one of a series of recent arrests of West Ridge and Rodgers Park residents at their homes by Evanston detectives, a 36-year-old man faces six felony drug charges and three misdemeanors related to illegal gun possession, police said.
Joshua H. Reizner, of the 2800 block of West Lunt Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 5:41 p.m. on Oct. 18 at his home after officers from a special operations group of the Evanston Police Department "came into contact" with him during a narcotics investigation.
Reizner was arrested after he was found to have four pills containing MDMA and $480 in cash, according to police, who did not specify the circumstances that led to his arrest. Reizner was taken into custody and interviewed by detectives, who also searched his home.

Reizner was charged with three counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count each of possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and delivery of methamphetamine, all felonies, according to police.
Police said Reizner also faces two misdemeanor counts of unlawful possession of a firearm without a firearm owner's identification and one count of unlawful possession of ammunition without a FOID card.
A day after Reizner's arrest, police also arrested William Stewart at the same multi-unit Lunt Avenue building. No further information was immediately available about the circumstances of that arrest. Police have so far declined to answer questions about any in the series of recent arrests of area residents charged with intent to distribute drugs, citing an ongoing investigation involving multiple agencies.
Reizner was released on a recognizance bond ahead of his next court date Nov. 29.
