Sexual Abuse of Child Sends Evasnton Man to Prison
The 41-year-old sexually assaulted a young child he knew, prosecutors said.
An Evanston man who sexually assaulted a young child in Elgin was sentenced to 13 years in prison on Thursday, according to the Elgin Courier-News.
Prosecutors have claimed Baraka A. Olla, 41, of the 1300 block of Washington St., sexually assaulted and abused the victim, who he knew and was under the age of 13, between the summer of 2011 and early in 2014.
He was convicted in September on charges of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
