Shots Fired in Evanston 3 Times Over Weekend
High temperatures also meant plenty of gunfire in Evanston over a three-day period.

EVANSTON, IL - A warmer than usual April weekend brought out the gunfire in Evanston.
Police here responded to three reports of shots fired over the weekend, according to Evanston Now.
Shots were first heard around 1:15 a.m. Saturday around Kenney Street and Dodge Avenue, where police checked the area and found nothing.
That night at 10:23 p.m., a call was made indicating gunshots had been fired in the 1800 block of Seward Street, where police also found nothing upon arrival.
As the weekend was closing, around 1 a.m. on Monday, police also found nothing after a call of gunshots fired was made from the 300 block of Custer Ave.
