PEER Services is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. PEER Services provides community-based substance use prevention and treatment services to teens, adults and families in Northern Cook County, including Evanston, Maine, New Trier, Niles and Northfield Townships, and the north side of Chicago. PEER Services reduces the harms of substance use, addiction and stigma by engaging youth and adults with innovative prevention programming and by supporting people on their path to recovery through holistic, evidence-based treatment. We provide affirming services to all in need, regardless of their ability to pay. Chicago comic book artist Geof Darrow will be appearing at Comix Revolution for the release of his latest work, Shaolin Cowboy #1, from Noon to 2pm on Saturday, October 19th.  Darrow will sign copies of the comic as well as his previous works which were written by famed 300 writer, Frank Miller.  Dark Horse Comics was proud to publish the two creators' graphic novels, Big Guy and Rusty and Hard Boiled.  Now Dark Horse welcomes Darrow back to the family by publishing his character originally created for the Wachowski publishing house, Burlyman Entertainment.Darrow worked with The Wachowskis as Conceptual Designer and Consultant on many notable projects such as The Matrix Trilogy and Speed Racer.  He continued working with The Wachowskis through 2009.  Outside of comic books and film Darrow has also done work for the trading card game Magic: The Gathering.  He currently lives in Chicago, IL.
