Surveillance Video Released Of Suspect In Rogers Park Shootings
The search continues for a masked man who killed two people at random.
CHICAGO — The Chicago Police Department has released a surveillance video of the man suspected of killing two people in Rogers Park. More police officers have been deployed to the neighborhood as the search for the suspect continues.
Police held a community meeting in Rogers Park Wednesday to provide updates about the investigation and address residents' concerns. More than 300 people attended the meeting.
Police believe the suspect lives in the neighborhood.

The Chicago Police Department released two surveillance videos that show the masked suspect walking down a sidewalk and jogging down an alley. Police noted that the suspect has a unique walk — he takes steps with his feet pointed out.
Douglass Watts, 73, was shot in the head in the 1400 block of West Sherwin just after 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Eliyahu Moscowitz, 24, was shot in the head in the 1100 block of West Lunt Avenue south of Loyola Park around 10:20 p.m. Monday, police said.
The same gun was used to kill both men, police said.
"We've been knocking on doors and reviewing hours of video and tracking down any private security or CTA bus camera that may be helpful,"Chicago police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said at a press conference Tuesday at the Rogers Park District police station.
Moscowitz's friends held a vigil Tuesday evening on the bike path where he was killed.
Watts lived with his husband near the 1400 block of West Sherwin where he was shot.
In the press conference Tuesday, Johnson and Mayor Rahm Emanuel warned Rogers Park residents to "be vigilant" as the search for the suspect continues. Covert officers have been deployed to the neighborhood.
