The 47-year-old Evanston resident opened the unlocked front door, but was immediately confronted by a man watching TV.

An Evanston man is facing two felonies after allegedly walking into a man’s unlocked home on Thanksgiving Day.

Rico Aiden, 47, of the 100 block of Callan Ave., was charged with felony criminal trespass to a residence and felony obstruction of justice because he refused to be processed by police, according to the Evanston Review.

A homeowner was sitting in his living room watching TV at 7:52 p.m. when Aiden allegedly walked in the front door, which was unlocked at the time. When confronted, Aiden took off, but was located nearby in the 2000 block of Sherman Avenue. The homeowner positively identified the man.
