Yoga For Absolute Beginners, Saturday January 8, 2022

Heaven Meets Earth Yoga wants to help you keep your new year's resolution to finally learn yoga by offering one complete 90-minute workshop. "Yoga for Absolute Beginners" is specially designed for the novice and will be held on Saturday, January 8 at 1 pm at the studio located at 2746 Central Street in Evanston and via Zoom.

The workshop will guide participants through all the main yoga postures, calming breathing techniques, and relaxation practices. "Many yoga classes don't offer new students the time or opportunity to learn individual poses or breathing practices," noted yoga teacher Nancy Gerstein. "We're covering all the foundational elements, so if the student wants to continue yoga by attending a class or practice on their own, they'll be ready."

"Yoga for Absolute Beginner" participants will learn:
-Foundation postures and how to adapt them to your needs -Simple breathing techniques to release stress -How to modify postures for your body type --Guided relaxation techniques
