Another six current students and recent alums received the AP Seminar and Research Certificate, with several still working toward the full diploma, underscoring strong college-readiness efforts in Evergreen Park.
   

• Evergreen Park Plans Fun, Educational Open House And Safety Fair, This Saturday (patch.com) — Evergreen Park families can head to the village firehouse this Saturday, Sept. 19, for a free open house and safety fair packed with kid-friendly activities. From touching fire trucks to learning escape plans and car-seat safety, firefighters will offer hands-on demonstrations, refreshments, and a chance to explore the station at 9000 S. Kedzie Ave. All ages are welcome.
