Evergreen Park Community High School art students exhibit fun and fantasy in their work displayed at the Evergreen Park Library.
The Evergreen Park Public Library hosted a reception November 1 for talented art students from Evergreen Park Community High School. More than thirty pieces of art featuring photography, graphic design, and paper and wood textured sculptures will be displayed for two months throughout the library. This is the second of such receptions held to highlight the creativity of Evergreen Park teens.
Faculty members Sandy Safranek and Chrystal Gryz from the Evergreen Park High School art department selected the pieces exhibited and were on hand to congratulate students and parents at the reception. Pete’s Fresh Market contributed to the festive occasion with delicious treats. Library Director Nicki Seidl said, "We are so grateful to John from Pete’s Market for partnering with the library to host these wonderful opening receptions for our students. It's a great example of community collaboration between the library, high school, and local business.
