Dealer Arrested After Selling Cocaine to Evergreen Park Cop Five Times: Prosecutor
Chicago man was targeted in month-long undercover investigation, prosecutor said.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- A Chicago man was arrested for selling cocaine to an undercover Evergreen Park police officer five times, prosecutors said. Randolph Alcorn, 26, is charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance following a month long undercover investigation. Alcorn is currently out on bond for a pending credit card fraud charge.
According to the charges, an undercover Evergreen Park police officer called Alcorn’s cell number and arranged to buy cocaine. The officer met Alcorn on May 31 at 84th Street and Pulaski Road. Alcorn delivered .6 grams of cocaine in exchange for $40.
The officer made similar calls to Alcorn’s cell phone on June 2, June 9, June 20 and June 22. Each time the undercover cop met Alcorn at 84th Street and Pulaski Road, where Alcorn allegedly sold cocaine to the officer.

Court records noted that Alcorn was arrested by Oak Lawn police for having an fictitious credit card on July 7. The assistant public defender told the judge that Alcorn is a full-time student at Moraine Valley Community College. He is currently on electronic monitoring for the other charge.
Cook County Judge Donald Havis set bail at $25,000 for each charge, totaling $125,000. Alcorn’s next court date is Aug. 10 in Bridgeview.
