EP Library Seeks 'Exceptionally Friendly' Person For Youth Dept.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- The Evergreen Park Public Library is looking for an exceptionally friendly, outgoing and fun-loving person to fill the role of part-time assistant in the Youth Services Department. The job will remain open until filled.

The youth services assistant participates in planning, promoting and implementing programs for children ages birth to 5. Other responsibilities include answering reference and reader advisory questions, collection maintenance and marketing outreach. Hour average 18 hours a week, including a twice monthly weekend rotation on Saturdays and Sundays.

Minimum qualifications include:

• BA/BS in relevant field
• Previous work experience with children required
• Experience leading instruction or recreation for an early childhood audience desired
• Proficiency in Microsoft Officer applications, specifically Publisher.
