Evergreen Park Barn Offers Tours And Visiting Hours With Horses

Visit horses Jack, Turk and their friends this summer at Evergreen Park's Barn in 50-Acre Park.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Come on out to 50-Acre Park in Evergreen Park to visit the horses, Jack and Turk, and their friends at the barn. The barn will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

During these hours, volunteer guides invite guests to tour the barn and, with proper supervision, be invited to touch, feed and interact with many of the animals.

In addition to these posted hours, park visitors are always welcome to view early morning workouts during the week, usually between 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. And everyday, the animals can be seen in the pastures and pens from beyond the fences. 50-Acre Park is located at 91st Street and Rockwell Avenue, Evergreen Park.
