Food Delivery Drivers Targeted in Evergreen Park Robberies
Police are trying to determine if the robberies are related to others in area.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Food delivery drivers were targeted in robberies that occurred earlier this month in Evergreen Park. In both instances a gun was displayed.
The first robbery occurred on April 3 around 11:59 p.m. in the 9600 block of South Pulaski Avenue. The food delivery driver told police he was approached by two male black offenders between the ages of 19-23.
A food delivery driver was robbed in the same block the next evening around 7:34 p.m. Evergreen Park Police said three male black in their mid-teens reportedly held up the driver.

A similar robbery was reported April 17 in Alsip, where a pizza delivery driver was followed into a vestibule by three male blacks and held up at gunpoint. The purported robbers fled in a tan or silver Chevrolet Impala or Malibu.

Police are trying to determine if the robberies are related. The Evergreen Park delivery drivers did report seeing a vehicle.
