Oak Lawn 911 Emergency Center To Host Wednesday Open House
Open house runs from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7. RSVP required. Residents and businesses Evergreen Park are invited.

The Oak Lawn 911 Emergency Communications Center which serves six municipalities and fire districts is hosting an open house from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7.
Residents, businesses and municipal employees from Oak Lawn, Evergreen Park, Burbank, Bridgeview, Bedford Park and the Central Stickney Fire District are invited to attend.
The open house will be held at Oak Lawn Village Hall located at 9446 S. Raymond St.

Two presentations are planned at 5 and 7 p.m. with questions and answers to follow.
Attendees will learn more about 911 services as well as meet officials from the Village of Oak Lawn and Norcomm Corporation, and most important, the men and women who manage and deliver 24/7 emergency communications services the center’s municipal partners.

The open house includes a presentation and a chance to observe the center’s 911 dispatchers in action. Refreshments will also be served.
Since January 2014, over 174,000 police, fire and emergency medical incidents have been processed by the center which services a population of approximately 126,000.
