Same Man Suspected in 2 Morgan Park Bank Robberies

The same bank robber is suspected of hitting two Morgan Park neighborhood banks in the last two weeks. The latest happened Thursday at Fifth Third Bank, 11850 S. Marshfield Ave., at about 3:30. The earlier bank robbery happened Nov. 8 at a U.S. Bank, 11150 S. Western Ave. The amount of cash taken has not been disclosed.

In each, the man hands the teller a note demanding money and implies he has a weapon, according to the FBI. The bank robber is black, 40-50 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 inches tall. He has marks on his face, according to the FBI.
