Seatbelt Stop Turns Up 640 Grams of Pot at Tollbooth: Prosecutors
Men were detained when police smelled cannabis in car during seatbelt check at Hickory Hills Toll Plaza, prosecutors said.

Two men were taken into custody at a Hickory Hills toll booth when a seatbelt enforcement patrol turned up 640 grams of cannabis, Cook County prosecutors said in court on Wednesday.
According to the charges, Russell Temple and Mozell Parker were on their way to Wisconsin when they were pulled over at 83rd Street Tollway Plaza in Hickory Hills during a seatbelt enforcement check on June 16.
Prosecutors said the men were detained after a smell of cannabis was detected inside the car. A search of the vehicle reportedly turned up six large plastic bags of cannabis, two grinders and a scale inside a duffle bag found on the back seat.
