Trucker Bound for Bedford Park Reported Missing

Chicago Police have issued a community alert for a long haul trucker bound for southwest suburban Bedford Park who has not been seen or heard from since Jan. 27.

Stanely Kasprzyk, 55, was last seen picking up a load from Kenwall Steel in Dearborn, MI, on Tuesday around 2:30 p.m.

Police say Kasprzyk was bound for Lexington Steel in southwest suburban Bedford Park. He has not been seen since nor is he answering his cell phone.

The 55-year-old trucker is driving a 1995 Blue Peterbilt Tractor bearing Alabama license plate 1057092. The missing trucker is hauling a trailer bearing Illinois plate 35223451.

The truck number is 2046.

Kasprzyk is a male Caucasian, 5-feet-9-inches tall, 195 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

Chicago Police ask anyone who has seen Kasprzyk or knows of his whereabouts to contact Area North Detectives’ Special Victims Unit at 312-744-8266 or call 911.
