Undercover members of the Sheriff’s Police Special Operations unit arrested a man April 15 at an Alsip hotel, where he thought he was meeting a woman he’d recruited to prostitute for him.

Claudell Arrington, age 33 of the 700 block of W. Vermont Street in Chicago, had provided the woman — who was actually an undercover officer — with the hotel room, and he posted ads on the escorts section of Backpage.com to prostitute her, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s Police investigation.
