Woman Texts Vulgar Image and Message to Ex-Friend: Cops
Hometown woman charged with electronic harassment of 17-year-old girl.

A Hometown woman is accused of texting vulgar messages and and photos to an ex-friend, prosecutors said in bond court Thursday.
Courtney Ryan, 18, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on an electronic harassment charge.
Prosecutors said that Ryan and a 17-year-old girl used to be friends but had a falling out.

According to the charge, Ryan texted a nude picture of herself to the ex-friend on August 24, along with a message telling the girl to “lick my s---, b----.” The girl reported the text message to police.
The assistant public defender told the judge that Ryan lives with her family and has a job in a hair styling salon.

Prosecutors said the electronic harassment charge became a felony because the other girl is a minor.
The judge released Ryan on a $10,000 I-bond. He also said she is to have no contact with the 17-year-old.
“No phone calls, emails, texts, letters,” Judge Felice said. “You’re not to go where she works, eats or worships.”
Ryan is due back in court on Oct. 1.
