Under the direction of music instructors Dana Shoemaker and Doug Adams, Hickory Creek Middle School students participated in the Lincoln-Way All Star Band. This is a festival band of the best players nominated from Hickory Creek, Martino, Liberty, Manhattan, Summit Hill and Mokena Schools.
Lincoln-Way High School band directors served as guest conductors in the morning and the band presented at a public concert in the afternoon at Martino Junior High School.
