Frankfort Arts Association Announces Gallery At Village Hall
"Homegrown Pride" will feature local artists and run through February 2021.

The Village of Frankfort is pleased to welcome the arts to its village hall. The Frankfort Arts Association announced its inaugural gallery wall at the village administration building will showcase artwork by local artists in its first exhibit, “Homegrown Pride,” which will run from November 9, 2020 through February 15, 2021.

“The exhibit will showcase FAA members’ vision of Frankfort and its natural landscapes and local inhabitants. All artists on display are residents of Frankfort,” said FAA President Lisa Podlesak. Featured artists include: Gina Barrett, Pamela Biesen, Marjorie Boyd, Christina Cooley, Margi Hafer, Stacie McGlone, Kristin Murphy, Sandy Newell, Claire Podlesak, Joan Quirke, Richard Schmidt, Katie Stempniak, Barb Stevens, John Tylk, and Vanessa White Mottley.
This must-see exhibition can be viewed Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM at 432 W. Nebraska Street in Frankfort. Art remains in place for the duration of the exhibit. Purchased pieces will be available for pick up on February 16, 2021. Facial coverings and social distancing are required.

“The Frankfort Arts Association and its members have greatly enhanced the visual arts in the Frankfort community. Their professionalism, creativity and talent make Frankfort better,” commented Mayor Holland. “We welcome these local artists and their work to your village administration building.
