Grand Prairie Elementary School has annual Field Days

Grand Prairie Elementary School students spent the last week of school completing the “Final Tigers Countdown.” This included participating in Field Days, Exercise Day, Game Day and Read Around Grand Prairie.

Field Day was designed with a Wild, Wild West theme. Parent volunteers joined in the fun and the event included inflatables from Windy City Popcorn Rentals and Randy from Awesome DJ’s, sponsored by the school’s Athletic Booster organization.

The Field Day event also included an indoor assembly with the Sky Squad, an extreme basketball slam dunk team from the Chicago Sky Women’s Basketball Team.

Chelsea Intermediate School students also participated in Field Days as an annual end of the school year program.
