Leprechaun visits Montessori of Frankfort today!

Have you seen the Leprechaun?

We pride ourselves here at Montessori of Frankfort for having wonderful volunteer parents. Not only did we enjoy a fun St. Patrick’s Day craft with Brianna Neylon but we had a Leprechaun visit and teach our children all about Ireland, the Leprechaun and why we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. During the Leprechaun’s visit, Chris Neylon gave everyone new Irish names based on the first letter of their name and the month they were born. They loved hearing their new Irish name and many laughs were shared during this time. We learned so much about Ireland such as why sheep in Ireland are so many different colors, what is Ireland’s native language, famous food, etc. Speaking of food, our Leprechaun even brought all of us wonderful Irish soda bread and green milk. What a treat! He gave all of the kids sunglasses, leprechaun hats, and gold coins. We would say it was a lucky day here at Montessori of Frankfort. Thank you Christopher & Brianna Neylon!
