• Frankfort Girl, 6, Killed In Accident With School Bus: Medical Examiner (patch.com) — Frankfort residents are mourning a 6-year-old local girl who died Tuesday after being struck by a school bus on Aberdeen Road, despite efforts by first responders to save her. Frankfort School District 157-C and Lincoln-Way Transportation are cooperating with Frankfort police and the Will County Sheriff's Office in the investigation, while officials emphasize emotional support for students, staff, and families.
