• American Discovery Relay 250 travels through Chicago Southland October 13-14 (southwestregionalpublishing.com) — Frankfort residents can join the American Discovery 250 Relay celebration on Tuesday, Oct. 13, starting 8 a.m. at Breidert Green with music, speeches, and refreshments before the group departs along Old Plank Road Trail. The relay then continues through Matteson, Park Forest, Glenwood, and Lynwood, with additional themed festivities and food planned throughout the day.
