Free Community Breakfast to Kick Off LivingWell's Annual Bridge Walk Campaign
LivingWell Cancer Resource Center's FREE Community Pancake Breakfast on January 26 at the Center, 442 Williamsburg Avenue, Geneva, kicks off Annual Bridge Walk Campaign.

There will be a lot of fun and shared laughs at the LivingWell Cancer Resource Center's free community breakfast planned for 9 a.m. Saturday, January 26, at the Center's new headquarters, 442 Williamsburg Avenue, Geneva.
Although the mood may be light, the reason for the breakfast is serious. The purpose of the event is to attract participants in the Center's major fund raising activity, the 5K Bridge Walk, which will be held May 18 along the Fox River. Last year more than 2,500 walkers participated in the event. Those attending will get registration information, receive team building and fund raising tips, learn about volunteer opportunities - and do not forget those excellent pancakes.
Raising the funds is important because LivingWell, a not-for-profit, is the only compehensive cancer care resource available in the western suburbs. It meets the needs of more than 12,500 people, providing services that encourage, educate and emotionally support people living with cancer, as well as their family members, caretakers and friends. LivingWell's value is recognized by professionals. It receives referrals from 19 hospitals and 26 hospitals - so LivingWell must be good.
