Here's a GREAT Rainy Day Plan!

The production "Hobbit" by the 6th graders of Rotolo Middle School will be a performance you will not soon forget!

If your kids are climbing the walls on yet another rainy day or dad needs something to do with the kids while mom gets a much needed break on the eve of Mother's Day (hint, hint)... bring them to see an inexpensive high quality production they'll love!

At 3:00 & 7:30pm today at Rotolo Middle School in Batavia, the epic fantasy adventure "The Hobbit" will unfold on stage.

If you're kids generally get bored at the theatre, that won't be the case during this action packed show! During last night's show, kids of all ages were hanging on by the edge of their seats. One of the students I spoke with said "This was waaay better than I thought", questioning if it would be anywhere near as good as the movie.

The costumes, set and superb acting (directed by Steve and Sherry Poulos), are all factors that will draw audience members into this fantasy world where dwarves, a wizard, a reluctant but brave hobbit and the beautiful elf ladies join on a grand adventure to reclaim the Lonely Mountain from a fire breathing dragon. Unexpected twists and turns along the way result in a fight with monstrous goblins and an encounter with a conniving, schizophrenic creature named Gollum (an outstanding performance, by the way).

Don't miss it! Tickets are available at the door and there's plenty of seats available. $3 for students and seniors, $5 for adults.
