Geneva Family Dental’s Halloween Candy Buyback program collected over 320 lbs. of candy, snacks and toothbrushes for troops overseas. Children turning in their excess candy were awarded $1 per lb. up to 5 lbs. Over $120 was given as many people donated their candy for this great cause.
Dr. Melissa Jentz-Cote said “This program is a great way to support our troops and encourage healthy smiles.”
The candy was boxed and shipped courtesy of Frank Lasi, owner of the UPS Store in Geneva, and Jen Bellendir, owner of Logon Group, St. Charles.
