Crash Update: Travel Times the Only Injuries From Kirk/Fabyan Collision

Thankfully, no one had to be transported by ambulance from the scene of Thursday's crash.

No one had to be transported from the scene of Thursday's rush-hour crash at Kirk Road and Fabyan Parkway, Geneva police said Friday morning. Initial reports were of a rollover crash that involved injuries.

Travel times were affected bigtime, and traffic on Kirk Road was backed up all the way to Route 38 for that accident that occurred shortly after 5 p.m.

Officials said Friday morning that one vehicle was traveling west on Fabyan Parkway and the other was turning left onto Kirk Road from Fabyan Parkway when the accident took place.

The driver of the vehicle turning left thought the westbound vehicle was going to stop because she believed the light changed red, officials said. Her vehicle subsequently struck the driver’s side of the westbound vehicle.

According to police sources, no citations were issued.
