Criminal Damage: 100-Foot Garden Hose Slashed, BBs Shot Into Garage

Just two criminal damage to property reports were in Geneva's police blotter last week, and both were on East State Street.

Planter Pot, Garden Hose Damaged

Someone damaged a clay planter pot and a 100-foot rubber garden hose with several cuts sometime between 4 p.m. Oct. 10 and 8 a.m. Oct. 11 at a residence in the 800 block of East State Street, reports said. The planter was valued at $20 and the garden hose at $50.

BBs Shot Into Garage Window

Someone shot two BB projectiles at the window of a residential garage in the 600 block of East State Street sometime between 2 p.m. Oct. 14 and 2 p.m. Oct. 16, reports said. Damage to the two windows was estimated at $100.
