Area residents age 50 or older are invited to enjoy an Oktober Fest lunch from 12:30-3 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Geneva Community Center, 710 Western Ave., Geneva.
The afternoon includes a lunch of sauerbraten, applesauce, herb roast chicken, sautéed red cabbage rolls and apple strudel for dessert, plus entertainment by the Wheaton Seniors Tap Dancing Group. The cost is $8 per person. Please register by Sept. 13 at www.genevaparks.org or in person.
