Geneva Place and Inglenook Pantry are joining the Salvation Army to serve a free nutritionally balanced meal for financially challenged families and individuals on Thursday, February 23, 2012, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Geneva Place dining room, 27 North Bennett, Geneva, IL.
As part of its Community Meal program, the Salvation Army will invite guests to the free meal. Residents of Geneva Place will help host the event at their retirement community and bring canned goods to stock the Salvation Army pantry. "Geneva Place residents are service oriented," says Geneva Place Marketing Manager, Danielle Leach. "This event is an excellent opportunity for these like-minded individuals and organizations to join forces and serve the local community."
