Old-Time Baseball Reenacted Today!

As early as 1867, the Geneva Rovers took the field to defend the honor of their community.

If you would like to see a re-creation of the kind of baseball that the Geneva Rovers played, come out at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3 at Peck Farm Park, 38W199 Kaneville Road. The Geneva Rovers will once again take the field against the Batavia Bat Men for nine innings of 19th-century-rules baseball.

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for Geneva History Center members and students, with all proceeds benefitting the Geneva History Center.  An umpire will be on hand to explain the rules and teach the audience to cheer and jeer in authentic Victorian fashion.
