Relax Deeply with Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a practice for everyone, young and old, active and inactive, stressed or depressed, over-tired or over-stimulated. Join Lisa for a deeply relaxing restorative yoga class with candles, crystal bowls, essential oils and light Thai massage to renew and nurture yourself.

This restorative practice is passive yoga poses, supported with props to quiet your mind. By turning your attention inward, you release deep tension while relaxing completely and restoring energy, physically and mentally which is not possible in active practice. This passive practice with long holds and little movement allows your muscles to relax deep into the core of your being, mentally, physically and emotionally. Most of the work is done seated or laying on the floor, supported with props, and held 3-5 minutes until an internal shift of letting go begins to happen.

Restorative Yoga has been shown to reduce the effects of stress-related disease and is beneficial for hormonal imbalance, anxiety, depression, immune and digestive dysfunction, and much more. It is for those times when you feel weak, fatigued or stressed from your daily activities.
