Fall is Here, Bring on the Soup!

... and PLEASE, make it easy to prepare! 

Who doesn't love the beautiful show of color provided by Mother Nature this time of year? What if your soup look and tasted that GOOD! Well, it can! 

Give this flavorful, quick and easy Tortilla Soup a try - it's hearty enough to call it "dinner" and it provides a load of nutrients like those found in avaocado which is so alkalizing with healthy fats, oil, fibre, and essential vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients    
2 Roma tomatoes, quartered  
1/2 Large  carrot 
1 Slice Red pepper, approximately ⅓ c
1⁄4  avocado   
2 tbsp  onion   
1 chunk  pepper jack cheese
2  sprigs  fresh cilantro
1  tsp  no-salt herb seasoning
3⁄4  tsp  kosher salt
3⁄4  tsp  garlic powder
2  c warm water
1⁄2  c  tortilla chips

Instructions
Add all ingredients but tortilla chips to blender jar in order listed. Secure lid and blend (or select "soups" on your Blendtec). Add tortilla chips, secure lid, and press "Pulse" 2–3 times. 

For more texture, when adding tortilla chips to jar, include ingredients such as ½ cup black beans, corn kernels, cheese, chicken, and fresh tomatoes.
