Ex-FCA Volleyball Star Shining at University of Illinois-Chicago

Molly McCoy, a former Faith Christian Academy volleyball and basketball standout and 2007 FCA graduate, is representing Faith with excellence as a starting outside hitter for the University of Illinois-Chicago women's volleyball squad! Molly is third on UIC in kills in her third season at the Division I school. She is playing on a full athletic scholarship and majoring in nursing.
 
Molly played volleyball and basketball for four years at FCA, captaining both teams and earning MVP honors in both sports in eighth grade. She also participated in cheerleading and track as well as music before zeroing in on volleyball at Wheaton Academy, where she was an all-conference standout and earned a scholarship offer from UIC.

Molly is one of three McCoy children who graduated from Faith along with her brother, Alex, and her sister, Rachel. Molly is the daughter of Dirk and Sherri McCoy. Dirk is now a member of the FCA board of trustees.
