Geneva Blotter: Neon Orange Blouse Taken, Underage Drinking, Drug Equipment Arrests

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor

Geneva police arrested Dylan Earnest, 20, of Elgin, and Ryan Doherty, 19, of Geneva on charges of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor around 2:35 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, in the 1100 block of Geneva Drive, reports said. According to the complaint in the 16th Circuit Court, both have a court date of Aug. 20 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.

Neon Orange Blouse Taken

Geneva police cited Helen Oltz, 48, of Geneva on charges of retail theft around 5:50 p.m. July 3 at Forever 21, 230 Commons Drive, reports said.  The report says Oltz took one Forever 21 neon orange blouse valued at $8.80. The citation carries a fine of $50 if paid by its due date.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor

Police cited Vincent Craig, 20, of Geneva on charges of consumption of alcohol by a minor around 4:20 a.m. July 4 in the back yard of a residence in the 200 block of Maple Lane, reports said. The citation carries a fine of $250 if paid on its due date.

 

Possession of Drug Equipment

Geneva police arrested Logan Bruce, 20, of St. Charles on charges of possession of drug equipment around 4:48 p.m. July 1at Elm Park, 419 Elm Ave., Geneva. According to the complaint in the 16th Circuit Court, Bruce had in his possession a glass smoking pipe. He has a court date of July 16 at the Kane County Branch Court, 530 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.

 

Criminal Damage to Property Under $300

Geneva police arrested Julie Lawson, 36, of Geneva on charges of criminal damage to property around 8:20 p.m. June 24 at a private residence in the 600 block of Oakwood Driver, reports said. According to the report Lawson damaged a microwave oven with a value of $80.
