Geneva City Council Votes Down Dunkin' Donuts

The Dunkin' Donuts was proposed to be built at a strip mall on Kaneville Road.

The Geneva City Council on Tuesday voted 9-0 against a petition for a special use permit to build a Dunkin’ Donuts at a strip mall on Kaneville Road, the Kane County Chronicle reports.

Pepper Valley residents were happy with the city council’s decision. Many have spoke in opposition to the Dunkin’ Donuts, which they said would bring way too much traffic to an already-congested area, according to the article.
