GENEVA, IL — After a mild start to the winter, the weather in Geneva is starting to match the season.

After several inches of snow last weekend and a cold week, wind chills are expected to be between minus 5 and minus 20 degrees on Friday. Thursday night is also expected to be frigid, with a low of minus 5 degrees, Patch reported.

With more cold weather expected this week in Geneva — Friday could have a high of only 8 degrees — there are locations throughout Kane County serving as warming centers if you find yourself without heat.
