The cure for summer boredom! Tuesdays in July your child can come to GHC for fun cartoon activities and then have lunch at McDonald's of Geneva.
The Geneva History Center will host it's first ever Kids Camp in July featuring cartoon themes in collaboration with our current "Start With A Sketch" exhibition. Camps are from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. each Tuesday in July and are geared for children ages 7-10.
July 2 - Drawing Geneva's Wind Power with guest presenter Al Ochsner, Geneva High School art teacher and cartoonist.
July 9 - Become a Cartoonist! with guest presenters Matt Anderson & Matt Jordan, creators of Shrek and Kung Fu Panda cartoons.
July 16 - Super Heroes & Crime Fighters, with our GHC Educator.
July 23 - Be a Cartoon Radio Star, with our GHC Educator.
July 30 - Crafty Cartoon History, with our GHC Educator.
Each session is $10 per child, $5 for GHC Members; attend all five sessions for $40 per child, $20 for GHC Members. Admission includes a coupon for a free Happy Meal from McDonald's of Geneva as well as all supplies and entrance to "Start With A Sketch" and "Greetings from Geneva."
