CASA is highly encourages men to attend a meeting. Currently, only about 22% of CASA/GAL volunteers are men, but half of the organization’s caseload involves boys and young men in need of strong role models.
CASA/GAL volunteers must first complete background checks and 40 hours of training before being sworn in by the Kane County Juvenile Court Judge. All training is provided by CASA Kane County. For more information, please contact Sarah Baxa, 630-444-3366 or sbaxa@casakanecounty.org.
CASA Kane County is a nonprofit, volunteer organization that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the Juvenile Court system.
