New Pace Bus Routes Start Monday
Riders can expect some changes in bus service starting Monday, Dec. 12

Pace is making some changes to several bus routes in the Tri-Cities to improve service and to respond to changing rider demands.
Route 801 connecting Geneva and Elgin will use Randall Road, which will be an easier connection to the Kane County Judicial Center and Elgin's government center. The route previously used Routes 25 and 64, Kirk Road, the Charlestowne Mall access roads, Kautz Road, Ohio Avenue, Illinois Avenue and Route 38 east of First Street.
Route 802 between St. Charles and Aurora will also see some changes that include no longer running north of the Geneva Metra Station. The new route will not include Charlestowne Mall. And instead of Route 802, it also will now be called Aurora-Geneva.

The St. Charles–Geneva Call-n-Ride program, or Route 592, will pick up that service from the and Charlestowne Mall and Wal-Mart and others previously serviced by Routes 801 and 802. A one-way fare costs $1.75 and runs weekdays 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. You can find out more about the program here.
