• Dump Truck Spills Gravel Along State Route From Geneva To St. Charles (patch.com) — Drivers in Geneva saw rolling lane closures on Route 38 after a dump truck spilled gravel from near Kansas Street through the busy East State Street and Route 25 intersection, stretching toward St. Charles. Geneva Public Works and a contracted sweeper worked into Wednesday evening and resumed Thursday morning to clear the debris and keep traffic moving safely.

• Cougars Take Series from Milkmen with 7-5 Win (oursportscentral.com) — The Kane County Cougars, playing at Geneva's Northwestern Medicine Field, clinched a 7–5 series win over the Milwaukee Milkmen after a six-run surge and late defensive stand.
