Trick-Or-Treating In Geneva: 2022 Hours Announced
Geneva children will have a second opportunity to trick-or-treat at shops and restaurants in downtown Geneva Oct. 27.
GENEVA, IL — October is here, and that means Halloween is just a few weeks out. Halloween falls on a Monday this year, and the City of Geneva set its trick-or-treating hours for 3-7 p.m. Oct. 31.
Officials also noted they will not provide guidance if weather forces Halloween events to be postponed or canceled.
"While Halloween weather can be very unpredictable, the decision to trick-or-treat is left to the discretion of individual families," city officials said.

To get a taste of Halloween before the official holiday — and give kids an additional shot at collecting candy — the city is planning a downtown trick-or-treating event from 2-5 p.m. Oct. 27. Children are invited to dress up and visit downtown Geneva shops and restaurants that will be handing out treats.
The Geneva Park District also has a slew of events planned to celebrate spooky season, including a Halloween dog parade and trick-or-treating.
