Visit Santa And His Winter Wonderland At Geneva Visitor Center

Santa Claus will be seeing children, riding in his carriage down Third Street and accepting letters throughout December.

GENEVA, IL — Santa Claus is getting ready to make his list and check it twice. The jolly man is preparing his abode ahead of the first day of visits with Geneva children.

Santa will be arriving on the roof of the Geneva History Museum Friday, 113 S. Third St., and visitors can gather to watch his entrance. After greeting people, he'll be escorted to the Geneva Visitor Center, 10 S. Third St., which will be transformed into his winter wonderland home.

On Friday, children can visit Santa until 9:30 p.m. He'll continue seeing kids Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Dec. 19.

Due to COVID-19 and social distancing guidelines, registration is required to see Santa. There is also a $10-per-family cost, and spots are limited.

Before visitations start, Santa will be riding his carriage down Third Street from 10 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. each Saturday and Sunday. He's also accepting letters, and those can be dropped off at the mailbox on the Courthouse lawn or at the Visitor Center, organizers said. Kids should provide a stamped envelope with a return address so Kris Kringle can write them back.
