$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold in Lombard

A Powerball ticket worth $1 million was recently sold in Lombard.

The winning ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven, 400 West 22nd Street in Lombard, and matched the first five numbers of the Powerball: 05-25-26-44-66-(09). The retailers will receive a bonus of $10,000 or one percent of the prize amount.

Saturday’s $415,000,000 jackpot was the 7th largest Powerball jackpot and 9th largest jackpot of any lottery game in North American history. There were two winners of $1 million in Illinois in Saturday night’s drawing. Both $1 million winning tickets were Quick Picks, and both were purchased at 7-Eleven stores. The other $1 million winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven, 1350 South Halsted Street in Chicago.
